Hot Holiday Video Game Pick Ups 2018

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! It’s the most wonderful time of the year. A time to be giving, receiving, and buying video games for yourself. Because at the end of the day we deserve it! Right? I know Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone but there are still a ton of great games you can get regardless of platform. Whether you are looking to buy a game for a loved one this holiday season, or you want to reward yourself and play something new. For this post I want to talk about some great gift ideas or holiday pick ups you may want to think about picking up. I’ll break it up into four categories. Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony and 3rd party games. I hope you all are ready.

Microsoft: For the Xbox One, One S, or One X there are some pretty good games you can pick up for this console. You can get the Xbox Game Pass which is a steal right now. Only $1 for the first month. And you get access to a great selection of games. But if don’t want to do that there are some games you can buy separately. One of those games is Forza Horizon 4. I don’t own an Xbox One but if I ever do get my hands on one this game will definitely be on my radar. If you love racing games you’ll love the way this game runs. It looks amazing. If anyone reading this post has this game leave some comments on your thoughts of the game. Another good pick up for the Xbox One would have to be Sea Of Thieves. Now I have my opinions on this game but from people who have told me they played it they are pretty impressed with it. If you are looking for something original on your Xbox One definitely give this game a try.

Nintendo: You are in good hands if you have a Nintendo Switch. If you have a Switch you need either The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, and MarioKart 8 Deluxe. If you don’t have at least one of those three games what is wrong with you? One of these games will make a great gift idea for a someone who is getting a Switch or just got a  Switch. Super Mario Party just came out a few months back and I hear it is one of the best Mario Party games is recent years. You can now play online. And they game everyone has been Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Nintendo I feel always has great options so you definitely have plenty to choose from.

Sony: For your PS4, and PS4 Pro there are great games you should definitely check out. Whichever games you check out I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Last year’s Horizon Zero Dawn was excellent and did very well. So many people loved that game. If you want to play that game you can probably pick up on the cheap. Two other originals I highly recommend for the PS4 are Marvel’s Spider-Man, and God Of War. I own them both and they are excellent. Sony I feel just kills it with their first party games.

3rd Party Games: There are a ton of 3rd party games to choose from across all three consoles and the PC. I’m going to discuss a few of them. First one is Red Dead Redemption 2. It was up for game of the year. So why not? If you were a fan of the first one you’ll love this game. Nothing but positive feedback I’ve heard from the game. Just Cause 4 just came out and that has been making a bit of noise as well. Spyro The Reignited Trilogy is great gift idea. It’s great if you want to relive these collection of classic games or if you got a young gamer in your life you would like to see experience it. And then some hot titles in my opinion I just picked up are NBA 2K19 and Dead Cells. If you love the NBA you’ll love 2K19. And Dead Cells is so addicting. If you love platformers you’ll love Dead Cells. Trust me.

Anyway these are some of the games that can make great gift ideas. There are way more I know I could’ve mentioned but I feel the ones I mentioned have given you enough ideas.
