Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! What’s going on folks? Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Weekend for those of my readers in the US. I know I haven’t posted in about 10 days or so. To update you it’s really picked up at work and I’ve been slammed. Working 12 hours days added on with an extra day during the week I’m not going to lie I’m having trouble finding time for just my personal life right now. But I did go out on Black Friday (Thanksgiving Night) and I got a few cool games. I figured I would use this opportunity to just discuss them.
I picked three games. NBA 2K19, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Dead Cells. I picked them up at GameStop and all on the Nintendo Switch. I was in and out. If you ever want to go Black Friday shopping where you are literally in and out GameStop is your place. Just know what you want. They also had a bunch of other games on sale too and they were selling the Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle. I convinced a friend to buy that for her son. I hope he enjoys what Santa is bringing this year. So I’ve played two of the three games so far and I’ll tell you what I think so far. No this won’t be an official game review. LOL!
NBA 2K19 is just about as fun as the last one I played. I don’t play NBA games very much these days. I did a lot back in the day and I think I grew tired of them over the years. But for $27 I figured this had to be a good pick up and this game runs really well on the Nintendo Switch. I want to play it some more but right now I need to work on my shooting. It’s pretty difficult to shoot in that game. Crash Bandicoot I fooled around with for a little while. For only $29.99 with three remastered games I couldn’t let that deal pass. I didn’t really play Crash Bandicoot growing up so it’s a win win situation for me. Hopefully they port the Spyro Trilogy to the Switch some time in 2019 as well. I won’t get it right away but I’m always out for a good deal. Dead Cells unfortunately was the game that had no deals and I haven’t played it as of yet but I will soon. I know I could’ve gotten it cheaper if I downloaded it digitally but I love owning physical copies of my games. I plan to eventually do a game review for all three of these games sometime …… next year so keep checking back in when I get around to it.
Now I know I could’ve bought these games for my PS4 but I really want to give the Nintendo Switch a chance from a third party perspective. And so far they can hang. Especially if NBA 2K19 can run on ain’t no telling what else can. And the advantage it has is you can take with you wherever you go. It’s the perfect hybrid console for platformers. I’ve been playing a variety of games on the console right now and playing platformers on the console is like a match made in heaven. Those are just my thoughts anyway.
