super smash bros. ultimate direct 8-8-18

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! I wanted to give my reaction to the latest Nintendo Direct on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I’m sure everyone who is super excited about this game has an opinion. So let me know what yours is in the comments below.

So I’ve been reading rumors for a while that Simon Belmont would be the next third party character to be introduced in the series. And the rumors appear to be true. He comes aboard along with Richter Belmont as his echo fighter. Castlevania games have been around a long time and for Konami to let him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is excellent.

Aside from him being announced it also talked about how every course from every game would be in this game. A total of 103 courses are in the game. And that is all accessible from the beginning of the game. No need to unlock any courses which I think is good. One course I’m excited about playing is New Donk City Hall from Super Mario Odyssey. That course looks amazing. Music was also talked about in this video. Looks like you can have your own playlist and listen to what ever music you want where ever you are. I think that is pretty awesome.

Some of the stuff talked about I didn’t care too much for but I am excited to see some more assist trophies be introduced. Knuckles was a character I predicted would be a character in the game. I guess he’s an assist trophy. Fair enough! Shovel Knight was a big announcement. But the most surprising to me was Klaptrap from the Donkey Kong Country series and Zero from Mega Man X. Shovel Knight definitely crossed my mind at one point but Klaptrap and Zero came out of nowhere. I’m starting to think that this game itself is worth much more than it’s MSRP of $59.99. They are just putting too much in this game that. It is definitely going to be the biggest video game crossover in the history of all video games.

The final character that I’m excited about that was announced was King K. Rool. It’s about time we see Donkey Kong’s rival back in a video game. After I saw that Klaptrap (also from the Donkey Kong Country series) was an assist trophy I had a feeling that King K. Rool being in the game would be an actual thing. Now we got him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Now let’s see if we can get him in next Donkey Kong Country game. I’m sure some of you know this but back in the day the Donkey Kong Country games were developed by Rare. Nintendo owns all the Kong characters but all the Kremlings and other bad guys in those games are owned by Rare. Rare is now owned by Microsoft which explains why in the recent Donkey Kong Country games they’ve had to go with all new bad guys. Nintendo must’ve been able to come to some kind of agreement with Microsoft to get King K. Rool and Klaptrap in the game. Whatever they did I’m excited and now we can have Donkey Kong vs. King K. Rool battles.

So what were your thoughts on this Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct? I personally think that they are just teasing us and ….. well can Dec. 7th get here any quicker? Did you like what was announced? Are you excited as am I? Let me know in the comments below. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. Here’s a link to my predictions I did a while back. Video of the presentation is below. Oh and sorry Waluigi fans! LOL!

  1. I would have loved Knuckles to be an echo character to Sonic… but I’ll take what I can get. I’m excited for King K. Rool. It’s about time he’s had a bit of a spotlight. I was happy with the whole thing. I think Nintendo has really put their heart and soul into this game and the directs never seize to amaze me. Guess we have to go play Castlevania now, lol.
