What’s happening folks? Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! I’ve gotten quite a bit a neat products over the past few months. So I’ll start by sharing my thoughts and reviews on two of them for this post. The IPEGA PG-9087S & IPEGA PG-9083S. They both are a pair of telescopic bluetooth controllers for your PC, Andriod, iOS, Mac and the 9083S is even compatible with the Nintendo Switch. Both of them are great options whether you like to game on your smartphone or your tablet. If you are interested in checking them out links for them will be at the end of this post.
Let me start with PG-9087S. This is the smaller of the two. It’s excellent for smartphones but you can also use on your PC or Mac if you like. The way I see it is that it makes mobile gaming that much easier. If you have a small carrying case and if you feel like playing a game on your phone the portability is very easy. It comes out in handy for me because I’m not a fan of button overlays (buttons on the touch screen). If it’s a game like Words With Friends that’s one thing. But I’m old school and when I’m playing a game that requires controllers I need to be pressing buttons. And when you insert your phone into this thing it looks radical. And since most phones are really powerful these days I can run games such as PUBG or Fortnite if I really want to. And I can of course set up my favorite emulators on it as well. Since I’ve had this controller my GPD XD has been collecting dust. If you are in the market for a telescopic controller for your smartphone give this one a look while doing your research.
Now the bigger one of the two the PG-9083S. The feel of the controller kind of reminds me of the Wii U Pro Controller. Those were some nice controllers if any of you have those. I like how the two analogs sticks are on top and then below is the D-Pad and your action buttons. Of course you have your shoulder and trigger buttons, start, select and the analog buttons can be pressed as buttons as well. It is perfect for tablets. The only problem I’ve been having with it is pressing the buttons on the tablet when I lock it in place. It either lowers the volume or turns it off (depending on what side I have it on). The work around I’ve been able to do is to not lock it as tight. It even can work with your Nintendo Switch if you want to use a different controller in handheld mode and not your joy-cons. It’s a very handy controller especially if you like to game on your tablet.
Overall I believe that these are very good third party controllers. I enjoy using them and it has made mobile gaming very easy for me. I would highly recommend getting at least one of these or both depending on your budget. They are both less than $40 each so I think it’s a pretty good buy. But I am curious to hear from you guys. Do you think that there is something better? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL.
