What’s happening good people out there? Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! I may not have posted in about 3 weeks or so but I’m still around. Happy Belated Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, Lincoln Day, Presidents Day, and if I missed any birthdays happy belated birthday. Where have I been may you ask? This month I’ve been doing what I do best. Playing video games for the most part. One of the toughest things about being a blogger in this niche is finding the time to do it. So I figured I would just focus on playing games. Add that along with my daughter being sick one of my weekends off from work. And a little bit of just needing a break. Best piece of advice I can give any content creator whether they are a blogger, YouTuber, streamer, podcaster, etc,. The burnout is real. It never hurts to take a break.
Well lucky for this month it is the shortest month of the year! LOL! And the month isn’t quite over yet. There are two more days! We’ll see what I come up with in the remaining two days. Anyway I’ve been addicted to two games in particular this month. Wargroove and Far Cry: New Dawn. Far Cry: New Dawn I beat already so you should be expecting a game review on that game soon. Wargroove I’m a bit of the way through the campaign. I want to get a little further in the game before dropping a review for you guys. I have Apex Legends downloaded but have yet to play it. I’m still undecided about Anthem but it’s looking like I’ll be passing on the game.
Even though I haven’t been blogging I have been podcasting. If you don’t follow The Game N’ Watch Podcast you really need to do so. We’ve been getting a variety of more guests on the show and I really want to get more bloggers on the show. I’ve gotten Jet from InThirdPerson on and that was a good show. Here’s a link to that episode if you haven’t had a chance to hear it yet. The show is only going to get bigger and we are worldwide. We don’t care where you live we will make it work. If we can get one of our guests from Australia to come on the show we can for sure can make it work with you. Leave me a comment below or get in contact with me if you are interested.
This past weekend I attended another gaming expo. This one was The Southern California Retro Gaming Expo. It was real fun. Met some YouTuber personalities while I was there. Passed out some of my newly made business cards for the blog and the podcast. And I took a look at what retro games people are playing. Unfortunately I didn’t participate in any tournaments this time around. But that’s ok. I played a few retro games at TV’s they had set up and played some arcade games they had on the arcade floor. It was a fun time. The next ones I plan on going to is Game On Expo which is happening in Phoenix, AZ this summer. And of course E3! I might do The Portland Retro Gaming Expo which is happening in Portland, OR. We’ll see! If could do them all I would. Hopefully sometime in the next month I’ll do a post on what expos are going on in your neck of the woods. I recommend everyone going to an expo such as this at least one time. They are fun!
I have also gotten quite a bit of products that I want to review for you guys. I’ve been lagging it in terms of product reviews. I recently got a Nintendo Switch backpack I want you all to check out. That could possibly make a great gift idea. Aside from that a few other things I want to review for you guys and hopefully you may want to go out and buy for yourself!
Aside from all that I’ve been doing fine. Right now I’m scoping out March to see what upcoming games look interesting to me. I’m thinking maybe MLB The Show ’19. The last one I played was ’17. Yoshi’s Crafted World also looks interesting. That reminds me I need to download the demo. As for games that have already been out I think I do want to check out The Resident Evil 2 Remake (never played the original) and perhaps Captain Toad’s: Treasure Hunter. I hear they are about to drop some DLC for that game (if they haven’t already). Do you guys have any suggestions? Let me know in the comments below.
So no I didn’t retire from blogging. I’m still doing my thing on this site. And I’m excited to see what is coming up for the months ahead. The Xbox Games Pass on the Switch is really amazing.
