January 2018: Site News, Updates, and Blogiversary

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! It’s a New Year! Happy New Year folks! Hopefully you are having a good one. For me it also means it’s my blogiversary! If you don’t believe me here is a link to the post I did on this day one year ago. This year I really want to elevate this blog as much as I can. I feel like I did a great job of this last year and that it’s only going to get better as this year goes on. WOW! I can’t believe I’ve been in the blogging game for a year now. Not very many blogs make it to see a year so I’m glad I’m still in it. Let’s review last month, and what’s to come this month and this year.

Last month was a very busy month for me at work. So I didn’t get to post as much as I would’ve liked. Going into the holidays this year I just need to manage my time a bit better. But I was able to get two game reviews done for you guys in Mega Man 11, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I didn’t think I would do a review on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as quickly as I did but it was the only game I really played last month. I know I need to get to Dead Cells and WWE 2K19. One of those will be reviewed before this month is over. As for retro games I have a lot I would love to review for you. Just not a whole lot of time. But if I find some extra time this month I’ll stream and review a retro game for you guys. Hopefully it’ll be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist like I’ve been wanting to do. And if anyone wants to play along who uses Retropie, Recalbox or RetroArch let me know.

Moving ahead to this month I plan on picking up New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe on Jan. 11th. Like I’ve said before I didn’t own a Wii U so I’m excited to play this game. And my wife is too so that’ll be fun. (She’s always been a sucker for Mario). Another game I’ve been debating is Kingdom Hearts 3. I know a lot of people are ready for it. Myself personally I already have Octopath Traveler I haven’t started on yet so I need to play through that before jumping into anymore RPG’s. I also plan on doing more tech reviews this month. I got some wireless controllers from 8Bitdo that are exclusive to the NES/SNES Classic. Can’t wait to share that with you guys. And of course as always I’ll have my rants, thoughts and opinions on various new stories. You may start to see a bit of a reduction in that sense I got the podcast going now but I’ll definitely do some that I feel very strongly about.

Looking at this year I plan on going to more gaming conventions out here in Southern California. I only went to one last year and I want to go to more than just one. I’m looking at going to E3 for sure. That was fun two years ago and I should’ve went last year. Who knows what will be announced there. And I think Sony will bring back The PlayStation Experience this year. I know there will be a lot of great announcements in the world of video games this year. The game I’m looking forward to the most this year has to be Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance 3 which is a Nintendo Switch Exclusive. I got my deposit down at GameStop now I’m  just waiting for the release date to be announced. Overall I feel that this year will be a good one.
