What up folks? Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! It’s just about the end of the month but I can’t leave this month without doing an interview for you all. Got a good one today from Megan Price. She runs the blog A Geeky Gal. Definitely check her out. If you are into gaming, cosplay, anime and all things geeky you’ll definitely love what her blog has to offer. So check this interview out and I’ll be back at the end with my final thoughts. Enjoy!

2TALL: Hello Megan. Thank you for your time to do this interview. So how would you describe your blog to someone who is visiting it for the first time?

Megan: A Geeky Gal is a geeky blog dedicated to gaming, anime, cosplay, and more! You’ll find reviews, personal anecdotes, links of the week, and lots of top five or ten lists.

2T: How long have you been blogging?

M: A Geeky Gal was actually born out of an older blog that I used as a creative outlet. I’ve probably been blogging around 5 years or so, but that’s an educated guess.

2T: How did A Geeky Gal come about?

M: I mentioned my first blog above that eventually I shut down to create A Geeky Gal. I started writing game reviews (which eventually became Saturday Suggestions) and realized I really wanted to focus on my love of geeky things like gaming and cosplay.

2T: What made you want to combine your “geeky” interests with blogging?

M: I wanted my blog to have a direction instead of being simply an outlet, and I wanted to pick some subjects I’d never tire of writing about.

2T: Before AgeekyGal did you write on any other blogs?

M: The only other blog I wrote on before A Geeky Gal was my old blog.

2T: Any advice for bloggers out there that are just starting out or haven’t been blogging?

M: Try to write every day. I find that the days that I have a lot of motivation, I can churn out several posts or at least start them. For the days I don’t feel like writing, I can finish off some posts or just post something that’s finished!

2T: That’s really good advice. Writing something everyday I think can really help a blogger that is just starting out. Whether you post it or not. One thing I noticed that you like to do on your blog is Saturday Suggestions. How did that come about?

M: It actually started with simple reviews and then I decided I needed a catchy name to go with the different categories of games and anime. Saturday Suggestions was born! Saturday Suggestions are meant to be games you play, anime you watch, and books or comics you read on Saturdays!

2T: I see you are into cosplay. Who have you dressed up as? Who was your favorite?

M: I have dressed up as casual Asuna from SAO as well as her blue avatar from ALO and Misa from Death Note. I wish I had been able to cosplay more. I still have an unfinished Belle (Beauty and the Beast) cosplay sitting in my closet. Undine Asuna has so far been my favorite!

2T: Anyone you want to dress up as in the future?

I have quite a list going! A few that I want to cosplay soon are: Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club, Usagi from Sailor Moon, and a modern take on Starfire from Teen Titans.

2T: Starfire should be really interesting. Can’t wait to see how that comes out. Do you go to any cosplay conventions. If you do which ones do you go to?

M: Yes! When I lived in Alabama, I’d go to AWA and Momo-Con in Atlanta, GA and Kami-Con in Birmingham, AL. I haven’t been to a convention in Saint Louis yet but that’s going to change this year. We’re planning on attending one in October!

2T: Definitely take pictures and post them on your site. So lets go back in time. Where did it all start for you with video games?

M: It all started with my first PlayStation! I got Spyro the Dragon and have never looked back.

2T: Spyro The Dragon. I know people are mad the trilogy got pushed back. What were your favorite games growing up?

M: Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, 007 Nightfire, Animal Crossing, Rugrats: Search for Reptar, and Frogger.

2T: What game/games are you playing right now?

M: Currently, I’m playing Stardew Valley on the PS4, Pokemon Go on my phone, and I’m eagerly awaiting the next update for 7 Days to Die on Steam.

2T: Do you plan on getting a Nintendo Switch by the end of the year?

M: I’ve been considering it. I still haven’t made a decision yet!

2T: You know you want those Pokemon games for the Switch. Lemme know when you get it. Now it’s time to get really geeky! Android or Apple?

M: Android phone, Apple computer.

2T: Great combo. Favorite video game controller?

M: PS3

2T: Favorite fruit?

M: Strawberries

2T: Favorite meat?

M: Venison

2T: Sneakers or heels?

M: Sneakers
