Games coming out this summer, fall and holiday season for 2018.

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! After E3 I can honestly say I’m very excited about the games coming out later on this year. I’m going to make a list of games I would like to pick up this later on this year and hopefully do reviews on them. There’s a ton of stuff coming in 2019 but let’s just stick with 2018 first. To make it easy I’ll do it by the months without a further or do here we go.

June

The Crew 2 (PS4) – June 26th: I’m playing the beta right now. It pays homage to my hometown of Los Angeles with really good design but I’m not really liking the story all that much. I think I’ll wait for a price drop on this one.

July

Octopath Traveler (Switch) – July 13th: I’ve played the demo. I’m really impressed. I really want it but when it comes to playing RPG games they just take up too much of my time. If I’m looking for something to play by mid summer I’ll get it. Definitely not a day one pick up for me.

Sonic Mania Plus (Switch or PS4?) – July 17th: I can’t make up my mind whether to get this on PS4 or Nintendo Switch. I have the original on PS4. So either pay for the upgrade or get a new physical copy of the game. This game didn’t have a physical copy the first time so I’m really leaning more toward the Switch version. I like playing retro inspired games more on the Switch.

Mega Man X Collection 1 and Mega Man X Collection 2 (Switch) – July 24th: I plan on getting this on the Switch. So nice of Capcom to finally make this collection happen. Long overdue if you ask me. Nothing like playing Mega Man X on your Nintendo Switch right? I really only played the first three X games since they were on the SNES but I never played some of the later titles. This may be a day one pick up for me. We’ll have to wait and see.

August

Nothing I see in August really interests me. This will give me time to play games I already got.

September

Destiny 2: Forsaken (PS4) – September 4th: I really just want to be done with Destiny. I’m thinking about giving it one more chance. Bungie really messed up with it last year and when a developer messes up on a game that I’m playing it is hard to get me back. One example is For Honor. Once something bad happens that ruins my experience I move on. I’ll look into though. But I really just want to be a casual player when it comes to Destiny 2. I want time to play other games and if you get into it hardcore like any game it can easily be the only game you will be playing.

Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4) – September 7th: The game play looks amazing. It’s games like this that make me happy to be an owner of a PS4. Guaranteed day one pick up here. I can’t wait.

October

Mega Man 11 (Switch) – October 2nd: The Mega Man series continues with Mega Man 11. I’m glad that they are finally moving on from the 8-bit graphics and we are getting a more modernized platformer with this game. Maybe with some time this summer I’ll check out the other Mega Man games. On second thought I beat Mega Man 2 I’m good. LOL!

Super Mario Party (Switch) – October 5th: Looks fun. Not a day one pick for me but I’ll probably get it some time during the holiday season. Or just wait until more of my friends get it. I’m excited about the online play for this game. That changes things a lot when it comes to Mario Party.

WWE 2K19 (PS4) – October 5th: I always pick these games up day one. I enjoy creating wrestlers, giving them moves, creating my own shows, deciding who the champions will be, and so much more. A lot of creative stuff you can do in this game whether you are a wrestling fan or not. I will probably get the Deluxe Edition and play a few days early. Too bad they just can’t do a yearly update not only for this game but other sports games as well.

Red Dead Redemption II (PS4) – October 26th: This looks like another day one pick up here. This is another game I’m very excited about. The long awaited sequel to the original (which is a prequel) is going to do very well. With Rockstar Games behind this game you know it will be damn near perfect.

November

Another breather month. Maybe I’ll get some of the games I didn’t get day one. And it is the month of Black Friday so there will probably be some great deals.

December

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch) – December 7th: The game I keep on talking about on this blog. I can’t wait for this game. I didn’t have a Wii U so I didn’t own that one. I have it on 3DS but it’s not the same. This is meant to be played in console mode in my opinion. Not handheld. Hopefully we get some DLC. (Waluigi)! LOL!

Games Already Out

God of War (PS4) – I recently picked this game up. Once I’m done with Far Cry 5 I’ll be popping this in my PS4. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it and I’m very excited to start playing it.

Sonic Forces (PS4 or Switch) – It seems like some YouTubers were making this game seem worse than what it actually was. Don’t get me wrong it’s not great but I feel like it is playable. I’m a fan of the Sonic 3D games so I think I’ll enjoy. I’m just waiting to pick it up on the cheap though.

If you want to look at list of games that are coming out for 2018 and beyond check out this link over at VG24/7. Is there any game I forgot to mention that I should be interested in? What game or games are you looking forward to this 2018. Let me know in the comments below. Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading and thanks for the support.

  1. From this list, I’m most looking forward to Octopath Traveler, Super Mario Party, and Super Smash Ultimate. I want them all now, but I’m glad they’re spaced a few months apart so I can give my individual attention to each, lol.
