Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! With E3 just around the corner I figured I would talk about it. No not the rumors of what the companies are talking about. I will put together my final thoughts and games to look aout for this fall and holiday season. But this post is more for if you are going to the event. If you are unaware E3 last year opened their trade show to the public and they followed suit once again this year. I went to the even last year and had the time of my life. I won’t be going this year unfortunately due to work and other commitments (I have to save my vacation this year) but I want to give you a bit of a survival guide if you are going to the event.
Just a heads up. Get there early. There will be a lot of people there and they don’t check ID’s. So if you get there right when the show floor opens just go. Meaning if you bought your pass last minute from someone who couldn’t make it don’t worry about showing your ID. Another thing try to make some friends. Especially if you are going alone. The way to make this event great is if you are there with friends. If you roll alone then make some. We are all at this event because of our love for video games. Don’t be shy. Once you get to talking to someone you never know. You can get someone’s gamer tag, friend code and then you’ll want to play them online, or just see them online and take a look at what they are playing. I met some awesome people last year and even though I ain’t going to the event I still keep in touch with them. I feel a little bad I’m not going but I do plan on meeting up with them after E3 is over. That should be fun.
Expect long lines. Longer than an amusement park. You might want to bring a handheld. Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, an emulator machine. Whatever the case may be. Another thing I recommend is to bring a portable solar power bank. I wish I brought one last year but I did bring it to PSX. Speaking of PlayStation download their app because the only way to demo their games is to sign up on the app. And if you like to drink bring your favorite beer the 2nd day. They serve alcohol but not until noon so break it out after noon. And to not get caught you might want to have the beers that they sell. If you get there right when the lines open up you won’t be checked and you can bring it in. If you come later on you will be ID’d and subject to a bag check. And the most important thing is have fun. And support your favorite developer’s games that are coming out this year.
Anyway that’s just a little bit of advice going into E3. Like I said before I will be putting together a list of games coming out this fall/holiday season and beyond that will be displayed at the event. This is the season to be a gamer. The big show of them all. E3! Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Remember that TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE! Thanks for reading folks. If you are going let me know in the comments below. I do plan on going once again in 2019 (if it’s still open to the public)!
