NES Classic Edition: Back In Stores June 29th.

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Were you one of those people who missed out on an NES Classic Edition last year? Well I got some great news for you. According to Nintendo’s Twitter account they will be back on store shelves June 29th. And they will have sufficient supply through the end of the year alongside with the SNES Classic Edition.

Now for those of you who missed out when it was in stores, it’s your opportunity to get this thing. Nintendo has given their fans a second chance. Are you going to seize the opportunity and get your hands on this thing? I know come June 29th I’m lining up somewhere to get this thing. And it’ll complete my collection of Nintendo throwback consoles…. for now. I do have a few questions about it though. Are they going to include an extra controller? And will the controller be longer than the original three feet they had it the first time around? Well there are a few ways around this if they don’t. You can check out 8Bitdo products and you can even check out some longer wired controllers made by a third party such as these. There is also extension cables that are available or you can use the SNES controllers (if you purchased the SNES Classic).

Another good thing about this coming back to store shelves is that you don’t have to pay scalper prices anymore (hopefully). And that’s bad news for the scalpers who haven’t sold the ones they have yet because with them coming back they are going to be more aggressive to try and get rid of it for a higher price. Some of them have probably had bad luck trying to sell the SNES Classic. There’s been plenty of supply with that micro console and with the NES Classic coming back hopefully Nintendo keeps their word by making sufficient supply through the rest of the year and hopefully beyond.

I’m curious though are you guys going to purchase the NES Classic Edition or let this opportunity slip away yet again if you didn’t get it the first time?
