Nvidia Shield Android TV: The Best Android TV On The Market!

Blogging live to you and yours! It’s your boy TWOTALL4UFOOL! Are you one of those people out there that wants an all-in-one entertainment device. From streaming shows on your favorite apps, watching movies, and even gaming? Then the Nvidia Shield Android TV is the best Android TV device for you. There are plenty of other knock off android boxes on the market out there but if you want something that’s a sure thing and top of the line, you can’t go wrong with Nvidia. I’ll tell you why.

Now there are other devices out there that can mimic what Nvidia can do. Let’s start with the Roku. Roku TV can do just about everything that Nvidia can do. But when it comes to the games it doesn’t stand a chance against Nvidia’s lineup of games that you can steam and even purchase if you like. Amazon Fire TV did have games also but it looks like they are going in a different direction. Their latest version of the Fire TV isn’t even as powerful as the previous generation. Looks like Amazon isn’t getting into the console/gaming business after all. Now those are all good choices if you don’t plan on gaming with it, but I feel what’s the point of getting a streaming device if you can’t play any good quality games on it? You can even custom build your own Android TV box with a single board computer but that still won’t compare to the power that Nvidia can deliver.

The Nvidia Shield can be convenient in other ways as well. Say you have only two cable boxes with your TV provider and have a room in the house that has a TV but no box connected to it. This is the perfect time to get the Shield into action. With apps through the Google Play Store just think of any channel you want to watch and boom you can watch live TV through that app. Missing your favorite program on TBS. Use the Shield. Your significant other is jamming up the DVR and you are looking to watch the big game on ESPN. Just use the Shield. It comes out in handy because all you’ll need is your account information for whatever TV app you want to use and boom you can stream your favorite channels through the best Android device ever.

It also has your movie apps such as VUDU, Netflix, and it has Hulu as well. But I think where this thing really wins is with its games. A whole ton of games you can stream through the GeForce service at a very low monthly price. You can even buy games if you wish and download free games as well (most of which have microtransactions). And it is the best device for running your favorite emulator apps. These include apps such as Mupen 64, Dolphin, Reicast, and my personal favorite RetroArch. RetroArch is an app that has multiple cores (or emulators) that can emulate a whole list of retro consoles. I’m going to be talking more about RetroArch in the near future. You can even use Steam on the Nvidia Shield too. So if you are a Steam user you can stream your games from your PC to the device. Pretty neat if you ask me.

And if you are looking to break the cords and do nothing but exclusive streaming in your home. It has all of the TV streaming services you can choose from. YouTube TV, Fubo TV, PS Vue, SlingTV! You name the service you want. It’s probably on there. You may want to get multiple ones for home depending upon how much you are willing to spend. I have one and I love it and it is very convenient for my TV watching and even gaming needs. It’s very useful if you are a Twitch user and want to stream to Twitch. But I want you to be the judge of it. Definitely do your research and see if an Nvidia Shield Android TV is the right choice for you and your family.
